Delhi Minorities Commission – Awareness Drive, Bhati Mines

In our quest to help the upliftment of our community, The Genesis Foundation was part of the Delhi Minorities Commission’s awareness program held on 7.5.2022 at Bhati Mines. The drive was part of the initiative of the Delhi Government to educate the community about the various welfare schemes run for the minorities of the area and which have so far not been benefitted from due to lack of awareness.

The Genesis Foundation pledged it’s support to help grow awareness about these programs and help those below the poverty line benefit from these schemes that include reimbursement of school fees, and small business loans. Mrs. Nancy Barlow, Member, Delhi Minorities Commission, Government of NCT of Delhi was the chief guest of the awareness drive and spoke to the women from the community. She shares the vision of The Genesis Foundation that only the empowered and aware women folk of the community can drive any sustainable change. 

With our various initiatives in education, healthcare and women empowerment, The Genesis Foundation under the guidance of Dr. Arvind Minz, (founder and chairperson) and Dr. Suman Arvind (founder) has continuously worked towards enhancing the lives of the needy in our community, more so since the upheaval post-pandemic and job losses. We will continue to collaborate with the government and other NGOs like the Aashalata Victoria Wilkinson Charitable Trust in the area that share our vision so that we continue to contribute to the upliftment of the society.
