Dr. Suman Arvind (Founder), The Genesis Foundation, organised a medical camp in association with Aashalata, Victoria Wilkinson charitable trust during the time period June to August 2021 in the area of Bhati Mines, New Delhi.
During the difficult times of Covid, The Genesis Foundation actively seeked collaborations where we could help the community understand the pandemic and it’s relation to lifestyle choices and nutrition. The team worked tirelessly diagnosing medical issues and distributing free medicines and supplements.
Dr. Suman Arvind is of the strong belief that without education, no change can be expected or sustained. And this is why our camps also involve educating women about their personal health and hygiene as well as parental counselling to ensure the need of nutrition in the children of the community is understood well.
Our first camp in collaboration with Aashalata Victoria Wilkinson Charitable Memorial Trust was so successful, that we decided to come together again in the month of August and continue our work in the community aided by data collected from previous camps. As an NGO, The Genesis Foundation strives to fulfil as many needs as we possibly can. Our collaborative efforts help us reach out to more people in need of assistance and also increase the inventory of medicines, dry ration, supplements and like so that basic necessities do not become a luxury for anybody in our community.
